Question about a coin I found?

ACEofLONELYHEARTS asked:

I found a coin that reads "GEORGIVIS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:D:IND:IMP." On the back there's a guy in a helmet with a staff looking thing and a lighthouse to the left. It also says One Penny and it was made in 1946. The coin appears to be in pretty good condition. I looked it up online and I already know it's from Great Britain, but I'm curious to know how much it's worth today?
hehe i'll buy myself a hanky ;p

An expert but one penny from 1946 is worth about 21 at max would say you are sitting on and half cents go buy something pretty.
